“Afghan presidential run-off”

“President Karzai bowed to international pressure and agreed to take part in a run-off vote in the Afghan presidential election.  Karzai agreed to go head-to-head with his main challenger, Dr Abdullah Abdullah, the former Foreign Minister, in a second round of voting, which the electoral authorities said would take place on November 7″
