“Missing Pieces is a confronting contemporary drama about two married couples presented by DamShel Productions during the 2010 Adelaide Fringe and is also participating in the Youth Engagement Program (YEP). Written and directed by Shelley Wall Missing Pieces exposes the frailties of two relationships and the secrets they share and hide from each other. The play explores sexual identity, society conformity, family responsibility vs. personal freedom, infidelity and addresses the emotionally provocative issues of domestic and sexual violence in Australia. The play premiered at the Tap Gallery, Sydney in October 2009″

“Clinton urges solution to Haiti ‘kidnap’ case”

“Former US President Bill Clinton urged the US and Haitian governments to resolve the case of 10 American missionaries accused of trying to take children illegally out of quake-hit Haiti. Clinton, named by the United Nations to coordinate relief efforts for survivors of the devastating January 12 quake, made the appeal during a visit to the shattered Haitian capital, Port-au-Prince, his second since last month’s disaster”

“Abbas awaits US clarification over peace talks”

“Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said he had asked the United States to clarify its offer to mediate indirect peace talks with Israel before he would announce any decision to resume the negotiations. ’Yesterday I met with an American delegation and we held an Egyptian, Jordanian and Palestinian trilateral meeting,’ Abbas said after talks with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak in Cairo”

“British Airways heads for record loss”

“British Airways PLC said that its cost-cutting drive has put the airline on the right course but won’t save it from posting record losses in the current year. In an update on the nine months ending Dec. 31, the carrier reported an operating of loss of 86 million pounds (US$135 million), compared to a profit of 89 million pounds a year earlier, and a pretax loss of 342 million pounds compared to a loss of 70 million pounds”

“G7 focuses on Europe debt”

“Finance chiefs from the world’s rich powers focused on the euro zone’s debt crisis at an Arctic summit and a top official said Europe was determined to solve its problems without the International Monetary Fund. ’We talked about Greece, Portugal and Spain and we told our partners we had to solve the problem ourselves without the help of the IMF,’ Eurogroup chair Jean-Claude Juncker told Reuters on the second day of a meeting of finance leaders from the Group of Seven rich industrialized nations. Euro zone countries like Greece, Spain and Portugal are under increasing pressure to bring spending under control”

“G7 nations to cancel Haiti debt”

“The world’s seven most industrialised countries have vowed to cancel remaining debt with earthquake-devastated Haiti. After two days of talks in northern Canada, the G7 will scrap all Haiti’s debt owed to the US, UK, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Japan. But Haiti’s foreign debt remains around $1 billion, of which 40 per cent is owed to the InterAmerican Development Bank and a further 27 per cent to the World Bank”
